Spring is here!

Yay, Spring is here! With spring comes egg hunts and baskets! Such a fun time of year for Big C. Little R is trying to get in the spirit too.

Big C was lucky to have multiple egg hunts with friends this year. Mommy, Daddy. and Big C love egg hunts with friends. All the kiddos are really respectful and considerate. The kiddos bring 12 prefilled eggs, mix them up, and hunt.

And here.....
And here....
All kids get 12 eggs and the faster hunters help out the slower hunters (aka Big C)! It's a great system and teaches the kids so much. B C has some great friends!

Thank you, my friend!
They are showing me the way, Mommy.
Look, there is an egg right here, Mommy.

Even little R had to get into the spring egg hunting excitement!

After egg hunting, Big C learned how to color eggs. Big C loved playing in the colored water, and he eventually got the hang of the egg coloring thing. The best quote from one of Big C's friends was, "Corbin, it doesn't work that way." When he wanted to play in the colored water. Haha! Priceless. Peer pressure all the way.
Hoe do I do this, Mommy?
I see how my friends are doing it.

I think I got this, Mommy.
I've got this....
So pretty, Mommy!
Happy Spring Big C and little R! Mommy and Daddy love to watch you grow and explore holdiays and how the world works.

One month old!

Baby R is one month old today. He is such a happy, alert little man. Right now he likes milk, sleeping, eating, cuddles, sleeping on "king pillow (laying on a pillow next to mommy), looking at big brother, C, and being wrapped in a warm blanket.

Here are pictures on his first month. Enjoy.

Mommy, Daddy, and big brother C love you so much baby R. Happy one month little man!

He's Here!

Baby Rowan Scott Lussier is here! He made his world debut on January 28, 2016 at 11:16am. 9lbs and 4oz.
Hello Mommy! Nice to meet you.
Where am I?
Zzzzzz
Mommy and Daddy are so excited! It was a shock to Mommy when little R arrived with a head of dark hair. For some reason she thought that another blondie was in the works. So far little R is a brown haired, blue eyed, little chunk.
Am I going home, Mommy?
Big brother, C was not all that thrilled to meet baby R at first. He gave him kisses and lovings, and then went back to playing. Once Baby R is a little less squishy, Mommy and Daddy know that Big brother C will will want to play with him.

Kisses for my brother, Mommy!
Mommy, Daddy, and big brother C are excited to get to know you better. Welcome to the world baby R!

Getting ready for Baby R!

It is almost time! The world debut of baby R. Baby R's name has not been announced yet (if you look closely you might see it in a picture), because Mommy and Daddy were debating between two R names. Now it has been officially decided! Yay!

Not much Mommy, Daddy, and big brother C can do until  Baby R arrives, but some preparation was in order.
First picture of Baby R.
Mommy’s cool, awesome, fantastic, great, friends hosted and attended an amazing baby shower for Baby R and Mommy! There was yummy food, games (pretty creative ones too), gifts, and great company (the best part). Big thank-you shout out to Baby R’s future aunties. After the shower, Big C came home to find balloons. As expected, he thought they were for him. It starts already…Baby R will have to get used to Big C confiscating his stuff.
For me, Mommy?
Mommy and Big C decorated Baby R’s room. Mommy and Big C also went baby shopping to pick out what Baby R’s room would look like.

Baby R's future crib.
This used to be my crib, Mommy?

Hmmm..what is Baby's R's name going to be?

Mommy, Daddy, and big brother C cannot wait to meet you baby R! Until then, we will wait for your world debut.

Merry Xmas 2015

Xmas this year was a low key affair. Mommy Daddy, Big C, Gramps, and Grams all hung out for the holiday. Mommy was getting big with little R, so most holiday traveling and holiday activities were put on hold. Big C was a mature man about it. He seemed happy to tolerate the reduction in holiday fun stuffs.

Big C had fun going to the park with Gramps and Grams (no pictures taken), and spending time with them. He also loved waking up xmas morning to a really cool ball pit. Daddy was a little leery about Santa’s gift (due to having ball pit balls all over the house), but he conceded to Santa’s wisdom.

Wow!!! For me, Mommy?
So cool!
I'm chillaxin, Mommy!

And to Daddy’s hunch, Big C enjoyed making a big mess! It looks like Santa will be arriving late with an additional containment unit for the ball pit balls.

Mess misson accomplished! haha!
Aw Santa, you ruin all the fun!

Also..Santa arrived a little late with a ceiling swing! Big C was so happy!! Big C got two swings. A tent swing and a platform swing (not pictured). Big C was so thrilled…he kept trying to get in the swing while Daddy and Gramps were setting it up.

Yay! More swings for me!
Merry xmas Big C! Mommy and Daddy love you so much! Next year you will also have a little brother to share the holiday with!

Turning 6 years old

Happy birthday Big C! Mommy and Daddy cannot believe you are six years old already! Wow, how time flies when you have such a handsome little man in your life. It is hard to believe that you entered the world six years ago, and changed it for the better.

Big C enjoyed his birthday with a party at school and a surprise set of balloons when he got home.

For me, Mommy?
Yay! My balloons!
Big C also got to have dinner with Mommy, Daddy, Gramps, and Grams at the resturant on his choice. Or course he picked Red Robin!
Yay! I'm sitting next to Gramps!
Big C also celebrated with his friends as his house the weekend after his birthday (his birthday was on a weekday this year). It rained on his party day so no bounce house this year, but he still had fun! There was a piƱata, cupcakes, coloring pages, and toys to play with. Of course, Big C picked a Sesame Street theme again this year (that makes 5 out of 6 birthday parties….. Mickey Mouse snuck in there for his 2nd birthday). Mommy is getting to be a pro decorating all things Sesame Street.
I love Daddy, Mommy!
Ohh...I'm on a sugar high, Mommy!
Mommy and Daddy love you so much Big C. More than you will ever know. Mommy and Daddy are so glad to get to know you. We want to remember that when you turned 6 years old you liked Sesame Street, Calliou, swinging, going to the park, strawberries, watermelon, ice cream, cupcakes, jumping, running, going on road trips, the zoo, playing with water, taking baths, and tons of other things that Mommy is forgetting to mention.

Happy 6th birthday Big C.
